Local small accounting firm seeking an office assistant. Duties include:
-Serving as the first line of contact for existing and prospective clients. Answering phones and emails.
-Creating and maintaining a filing system. Accuracy and attention to detail are key.
-Limited expense entry using Quickbooks Online. Candidates with QB Online experience given preference.
-Processing outgoing mail including tracking certified mail.
-Data entry and preparation of simple forms.
Fixed hours are Monday 8am to 1pm with the remaining hours per week (up to 10) being flexible. Position has potential to grow as the firm grows with increased emphasis on client contact and outreach. We are a caring and open office dedicated to team work and growth. Basic background checks will be performed before an offer to hire is made.
