Job Summary:
Responsible for coordinating entire station and communicating with front and back of house personnel to provide a dining experience that exceeds guest expectations. Success as a server is critical to the success of this restaurant. Servers have the closest and longest contact with our guests and the greatest opportunity to influence our guests impressions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Clock in and check in with the manager-on-duty;
Set a positive, comfortable atmosphere for selling our product to the guest;
When delivering food, you are the last person to quality check the product. Be absolutely certain that it meets our standards. If not, notify the manager-on-duty;
Monitor assigned tables for customer satisfaction, quality, and additional service;
Pre-bus, clearing all dishes as guests finish eating;
Address any guest issue promptly and with concern;
Assist fellow servers whenever possible;
Comply with all Washington State safety, health and labor regulations;
Comply with all Swiftwater policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older;
High school education or GED equivalent;
Ability to work well with others and function well in fast paced environment;
Able to communicate well with staff and customers;
Able to work flexible hours and days;
Current Washington state food handler permit required;
Current Washington state liquor license required;
Knowledge of food and beverage products;
Knowledge of property-wide facilities and services;
Possess excellent telephone and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
Ability to stand for entire shift;
Must be able to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs with assistance;
Must be able to bend, squat, crawl, kneel, push, pull, walk on uneven surfaces and reach on a continuous basis.
