A newly purchased hotel that is beginning a full renovation is looking for a qualified, full time, maintenance person. Candidate must have previous maintenance experience to include light electrical and plumbing repair. Job requires excellent organizational skills and the ability to stay on task without supervision. During renovations this position may work directly with the contractor, sub-contractors, owners and regional team to facilitate the smooth completion of renovations. The main job of this position after renovations, will be the preventative maintenance of the hotel. Your day will begin by printing reports from the computer, completing items on the list, and then logging them in the computer as complete. In addition, you will respond to guests needs for items requiring maintenance attention. This could include something as simple as plunging toilets or replacing a light bulbs to more complex tasks of television programming or plumbing leaks. Candidate must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, insurance and be available weekends and holidays if needed. Must be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check. Computer skills and pool knowledge are not required but would be a plus for any applicant. Please request an application or submit resume via email.
