The City of Ellensburg is looking for a bright individual to be their next Rate Analyst.
The person in this position will provide a variety of routine and complex analytical, technical, communications coordination, and administrative support services to the Public Works and Utilities Department. Assist in the administration of policies and procedures of the department. Extract and interpret data and rate information and perform various mathematical and economic calculations to evaluate efficiencies, impacts and outcomes; perform cost analysis of labor proposals.
Provide administrative support by processing and organizing an extensive variety of complex information and data of confidential matters and act in a confidential capacity.
This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration; and four years of related experience in office practices, bookkeeping, accounting, energy management, or general administrative work, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in an electric, and/or natural gas utility preferred.
Valid state driver's license or have the ability to obtain one prior to employment; maintain First Aid and CPR certification.
Special Requirements:
Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug testing.
