Log Compliance (Trucking)
Small trucking company looking for a Safety and Log Compliance Specialist (administrative/non-management position/hourly pay; 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday).
Duties will include auditing drivers daily logs, driver training (orientation and retraining), data entry. Position may also assist with payroll, accident claims, workers comp claims, and recruiting.
Skills required:
Computer savvy and able to learn new software quickly
Ability to read, learn, and interpret federal regulations
Ability to do basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
Ability to effectively communicate with a variety of personalities
Ability to tolerate negative interaction with individuals
Ability to find geographical locations on a map
Must be organized and able to prioritize
Ability to efficiently enter data into computer system
