United Bank is hiring for multiple locations: Charleston, WV, US, 25387 Charleston, SC, US, 29407 Wheeling, WV, US, 26003Job DescriptionThe nCino Technical Lead is responsible for ensuring the technical infrastructure is in place to efficiently take the nCino product from design through the development process and into production. The Lead coordinates and oversees the release management process. The individual will use industry-standard tools and technologies to develop automated, efficient, and scalable processes that enable the bank to rapidly produce and release software. This individual also assists the Technical Services Manager - Information Systems with the change management process. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and navigate the nCino Bank Operating System Application.
  • In collaboration with the Technical Services team, ensure a scalable process and infrastructure are in place and maintained for developing and releasing software, with a focus on high availability.
  • Manage and implement configuration and automation tools to simplify and automate the process of deploying, testing, packaging, and upgrading software developed and configured on the Salesforce platform.
  • Assist in the creation of dashboards and monitoring tools to provide insight into the performance of the nCino application product, the efficiency of our workflow, and areas for improvement.
  • Provide support to various teams through the maintenance and enhancement of United’s continuous-integration and continuous-delivery process.
  • Continually develop your understanding of the technologies and tools used in development and release cycles.
  • Oversees all complex metadata promotion from Sandbox Orgs to Production.
  • Controls a Version Control Repository (Source Control) for metadata and uses scripted techniques for complex promotions (e.g. VSCode).
  • Assist in ongoing communication internal release planning with appropriate stakeholders and teams to identify dates of releases and updates, as well as ensures teams and systems are ready for release.
  • Identify and understand release issues and risks and provide recommendations to mitigate risks to scope and schedule.
  • Evaluate, design, implement, and maintain release processes and controls.
  • Remains current on product development and update releases, as well as understands the changes and impact it may have on applications.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, MIS, Computer Science or other relevant field required
  • Minimum three (3) years quality assurance release management experience required.
  • Minimum one (1) year nCino experience highly desired.
  • Prior banking experience highly desired.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Salesforce best practices required
  • Basic knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, and methodologies required
  • Experience with least one of the following languages, formats required: Python, Typescript, Bash, C#, Java, Ruby.
  • Familiarity with distributed version control (git/github) and continuous integration (e.g. Jenkins, AutoRABIT, Copado, etc) required.
  • Experience with Salesforce, nCino, and Salesforce deployment tooling required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
  • Dedication to quality and continuous improvement required
  • Professional verbal and written communication for technical and non-technical audiences required.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% may be required
