Responsible for directing employees in their daily work requirements
Assessing workload and demands, organizes and assigns workload to meet demands,
Ensures that production schedules are met.
Helps ensure the quality of product and that equipment is properly maintained.
A strong machining background is required
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to the following.
Accomplishes job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees and implementing systems, policies, and procedures.
Will be responsible for developing schedules; assigning and monitoring work; gathering resources and resolving operation problems
Makes recommendations for: tooling, fixtures, equipment and improvement of processes.
Perform procurements on materials required for each job and administrative.
Strong knowledge of both conventional and CNC machining and programming.
Required to keep in contact with key clients as required
Strong computer skills
Additional Requirements:
Takes responsibility for all machine shop activities
Provides regular performance feedback to owners
Observes safety and security procedure.
Reports potentially unsafe conditions.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed represent the knowledge, and skill and or ability of the candidate
Strong machine shop background with knowledge of Cad and programming.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
In addition, this employee must have the knowledge to tun all the machines in the shop and may be required to fill in as an operator machinist when required.
