Transportation carrier is seeking independent contractors / transportation companies with 24” and 26’ box trucks to handle inside deliveries / installations in and around the Charleston WV area. Carrier is working with multiple nationwide clients so several teams are needed. Two (2) man teams required. Monday thru Saturday deliveries. Average 12 to 15 deliveries or more per day. Home every night. Vendors / IC’s with under utilized vehicles and teams seeking steady long-term income are always welcome. Settlements issued bi-weekly for faster expense recovery. Average weekly revenue of $3000.00 and more.
Contracting Requirements:
IC / Vendor must possess a 24’ or 26’ box truck
Drivers must be 21 or older
Drivers must have clean MVR (no more than two (2) moving violations in the past three (3) years. No “at fault” collisions in past three (3) years)
No DUI’s or Reckless driving convictions
Successfully complete a background verification (no felony convictions)
Drivers must successfully complete a USDOT drug screen
Drivers must successfully complete a USDOT physical
Previous inside delivery experience preferred but not required
Must be capable of communicating in English
Ability to lift and carry cargo of various sizes, shapes, and weights
One (1) million commercial vehicle liability insurance required (options to purchase coverage thru company possible)
100K cargo coverage required (options to purchase coverage thru company possible)
Workers’ Comp coverage required (options to purchase coverage thru company possible)
Must possess USDOT Interstate number (option to operate under company number possible)
