DescriptionSAIC is the sole provider of Systems and Software Assurance Services to the NASA IV&V Program located in Fairmont, West Virginia. At the Katherine Johnson NASA Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) Facility, we support NASA's IV&V Program, delivering analysis and verification of safety-critical and mission-critical software for a number of important NASA programs, including both human and robotic exploration as well as earth and space science collection platforms. SAIC is seeking a Business Process Analyst to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This high visibility position is in support of the NASA Systems and Software Assurances Services (SAS) Program, working directly with the SAS Program Management Office (PMO), including the SAS Chief Engineer. This position will be located in Fairmont, WV. The successful candidate will take on increasing responsibilities within the PMO, develop and implement process improvement initiatives across all aspects of the program, and put processes in place to increase the quality of contract execution. At times, direct support of the NASA IV&V Office of the Director, IV&V Projects, and/or tasks relating to Safety and Mission Assurance support will be required.Roles and Responsibilities:-Develop, manage and improve business systems and processes used in the execution of day to day activities on the SAS

Program-Support the efficient delivery of superior quality products and services on time every time to our internal and external

NASA customers-Facilitate and/or support SAS PMO activities through data analysis, project audits, metrics reviews, root cause and

corrective action resolutions and risk management activities-Provide briefings to various levels of NASA management based on technical, analytical, or quality based activities-Support program functions and tasking such as product analysis, process improvement initiatives, and project data calls-Recognize and investigate areas of continuous improvement-Support short term IV&V or Safety and Mission Assurance projects-Support Program Engineering Staffs tasks relating to the Office of the Director TaskingQualifications-B.S in Computer Science, Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Mechanical. Electrical or Computer Engineering, or other software-related engineering program-Or 4 + years of directly related experience in lieu of degree in addition to requirements below-Classes or experience automating business or engineering processes through scripting in one or more of the following (python, VBA, javascript) or other tooling software-Classes or experience analyzing technical data (development products and results) to support decision making and development of new processes

US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Desired Qualifications:

1 year or more performing systems engineering or business process engineering tasks working across multiple domains or enterprises

Experience leading teams or demonstrating leadership or initiative qualities

Familiarity with the SDLC and associated products

Familiarity with basic quality tools and statistical processes

Experience modeling or developing complex systems

Experience soliciting system or software requirements from stakeholders

Experience testing software applications

Experience using Microsoft SharePoint in a collaborative environment; ability to create SharePoint content, including lists, forms and workflows

Ability to use advanced features of Microsoft Access to automate work processes - Experience or familiarity using collaboration/tracking software such as JIRA and Confluence
