.Net Full Stack Developer - Front End Web Developer

Job Description

Front-End Web Developer to work on an ongoing project with a major federal agency, the selected candidate will support, maintain, and enhance web applications used by federal agencies such as the US Department of Education across multiple domains such as data collection and reporting, online collaboration, and grants management.

• Bachelor's (Preferred)
• Front-end development: 3 years (Preferred)
• ASP.NET/C# or AWS Backend: 1 year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, and enhance moderate to high complexity software applications
• Participate in design and code reviews
• Work with other developers to resolve design challenges and issues
• Unit test your code, be responsible for quality, and adhere to the standards defined by the team
• Test application behavior under production load and with systems and/or browsers typical of the end user population
• Provide well written documentation on the design as well as any operating procedures
• Monitor the use and performance of the system, resolve problems, and make suggestions for improvement
• Assist clients in resolving technical problems or in the use of software

• At least five years of progressive experience developing complex web applications
• At least three years of experience with front-end web development using Angular
• Advanced proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience working with Sass, Flexbox, and Angular Material
• A demonstrable portfolio of previous work, showing strong UI/UX design
• Experience with responsive web design for desktop and mobile platforms
• Experience with web accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG, Section 508)
• Experience with Git version control system
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

• Back-end web development experience with either ASP.NET/C# or AWS serverless services (API Gateway and Lambda)
• Experience with SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Experience with unit testing methodologies and frameworks
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deliver (CI/CD) tools such as TeamCity and Jenkins
• Experience with Agile/Scrum practices.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field
• Must be a US citizen with the ability to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship
• Must have ability to obtain a government public trust clearance
