Our Client, a leader within the industry, is seeking a Senior Applications Analyst- Clinical Team for a full time role. This position will be located in Northern West Virginia and can be remote as well.Responsibilities
- Quickly understands the business issues and data challenges of the organization and industry.
- Identifies the organization's strengths and weaknesses and suggests areas of improvement.
- Develops functional requirements, specifications and system design specifications for business requests.
- Develops or oversees the development of system documentation, user manuals and training classes for the application suite.
- Creates and maintains detailed test plans and scripts.
- Leads testing efforts and ensures issues are identified, tracked, reported on and resolved in a timely manner
- At least five years’ experience in or supporting clinical or ancillary department applications, EMR systems in a hospital or ambulatory environment or equivalent Healthcare background preferred.
- Expertise in a minimum of two healthcare clinical application modules/applications as a super user or information technology support analyst.
- Proven ability to understand clinical and financial issues and objectives as well as the ability to translate them into application solutions.
- Possesses understanding in the areas of application configuration and database concepts.
- Established project manager of large scale large projects of 2-6 team members, with experience executing on structured Project Management methodology.
- Preferred experience with Cerner Millennium products.
