Job Description

FireEye is seeking an experienced leader to Manage FireEye’s Americas Physical Security Program. This role will strategically partner with senior staff, business management, technical staff, Facilities, Legal, and other functional counterparts. The role will manage security at all FireEye locations in the Americas region, direct contract personnel, and will require exceptional performance and metrics-based discipline. This role is responsible for managing day-to-day physical security operations including 24x7 accountability and visibility. Reporting to the Global Physical Security & Safety Manager, the person in this role has a unique opportunity to further shape industry direction as part of a joint Physical and Information Security and Risk Management function.

What You Will Do:

· Manage a team of physical security contractor staff including 24x7 on-site guard protection services. Provide direct daily supervision when assigned, including leadership, training, evaluation, disciplinary action, coaching, and counseling.

· Manage day-to-day security business operations as a value-added member of the functional support and management teams, executing existing programs and facilitating personnel security actions.

· Manage and operate physical security technical and physical access systems including visitor management, badge access, cameras, and physical keys.

· Partner closely with Facilities, Information Security, and Information Systems and Services (ISS) team and provide physical security control design and implementation for new and existing FireEye offices, data center, and other entities including shared facilities within the region.

· Investigate and respond to incidents, accidents, thefts, property loss, and unlawful activities. Document details and advise management. Perform root cause analysis and provide recommendations. Coordinate and partner with state, local, and federal law enforcement when conducting investigations.

· Partner with Human Resources and Information Security on employee and contractor background check processes, procedures, and execution.

· Manage physical security communications aligning with development of a culture of awareness.

· Act as a management representative for disaster recovery, emergency response, and business continuity preparedness assisting in exercise, planning, and documentation activities as required.

· Support proposal and RFP activities, assist in proposal writing to draft, edit, and coordinate security-related portions during contract proposal submissions and review of security addendums in customer contracts.

· Perform physical security review audits and analysis for internal compliance and customer auditing and 3rd party vendors as required.

Qualifications

· Previous experience as a Physical Security Manager or Supervisor. This position requires independent judgment, integrity, and discretion, as well the ability to identify, analyze and resolve security-related matters.

· Ideally to have 2-year College degree or equivalent industry experience, including a minimum of 3 years supervisory and management experience.

· Demonstrated experience with developing and implementing security awareness programs.

· Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity with ability to manage, mentor, and supervise department staff, multiple project teams, and other initiatives

· Previous experience managing a budget and finance as it relates to security programs

· Demonstrated experience with physical security execution and policy across an organization, including but not limited to access control, security cameras, visitor requirements and employee access and identification

· Ability to interpret and implement company and government security policies and provide direction and guidance to superiors, peers, and subordinates

· Approximately 10%-20% travel will be required and will fluctuate based on business demands

· Must be able to work beyond normal work hours when required and available via phone and email to other cleared company and subsidiary facilities on a 24/7 basis in event of an emergency

· Proven ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, and lead presentations, training courses, and meetings
