Job Description

We are seeking a payroll professional to join our Payroll team in Richmond, VA. This vital role on our team will have deep payroll processing and withholding tax compliance experience.

Your specific duties as a Payroll Administrator will include:

Verify and audit compensation pay inputs

Process company payrolls – semi-monthly cycles

Support withholding tax compliance with outside vendor

Payroll compliance reporting

Payroll account reconciliations

Expense report approval in compliance with policies

General Audit Support

Employee point of contact for payroll and withholding questions

Other projects and tasks as required

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Specific qualifications for the Payroll Administrator position include:

Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in payroll administration

Experienced withholding tax compliance expert

High degree of professionalism and discretion

High commitment to superior client service, both internal and external

Ability to maintain confidentiality

Excellent attention to detail and superior follow up skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Self-directed and independent problem solver

Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business discipline

Workday experience

Project management experience

Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC)
