Job Description
We welcome chefs who have a passion for food and are confident working in a high volume environment. The role is based on our client site in Virginia.
In this role you will manage a small team, while working in a hands on role. The canteen is open 18hrs per day and serves up to 600 covers. You will work the morning shift Monday to Friday cooking and serving breakfast, with time out during the day to manage the Admin side of the role.
Responsibilities include:Manage kitchen and client, all ordering, staffing, compliance, cooking, menu planning, all paperwork and complianceQualifications and attributes:- Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
- Food Handling Certificate
- A strong understanding of food hygiene, safety and cleanliness
- Strong cooking and food preparation skills including knife skills are essential
- Experienced cooking high volume basic canteen style meals
- Full unrestricted working rights within Australia
