Senior Data Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our growing data engineering team. This role will focus on front-end data modeling, query performance tuning, and optimizing data access patterns on the Snowflake platform. You’ll play a key role in designing efficient, scalable data structures that enable analytics, dashboards, and data science use cases across the organization.You’ll collaborate closely with data analysts, product managers, and data engineers to deliver high-performance data models that power business-critical insights and product telemetry analytics.What You’ll DoDesign, build, and maintain optimized data models for analytics and reporting use cases in Snowflake for AI and Value ProjectsPartner with data consumers to translate business needs into performant SQL transformations and reusable datasets.Conduct query performance tuning, warehouse optimization, and data partitioning to improve speed and efficiency.Develop and automate data quality checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.Collaborate with backend engineers on ingestion and transformation pipelines, ensuring smooth handoffs between ingestion and modeling layers.Contribute to best practices for data governance, documentation, and code reviews within the data engineering organization.Write clean, modular, and testable SQL and Python code to support data workflows and automation.
