Our preferred client is looking to directly hire a
Senior Accountant. To be successful in this role an applicant will need to be a resilient self-starter, possess deep interpersonal skills, have a desire to succeed. Ideal candidates will have leadership skills and sound understanding of GAAP.Must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated upon hire. Responsibilities- Perform month, quarter, year end close responsibilities
- Exhibit strong analytical skills to help identify process improvements and provide solutions
- Oversee AP and AR functions
- Perform reconciliations and enter journal entries
- Act as liaison between upper management and accounting team
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related
- Prior experience with Sales/Use and Property tax preparation and filling
- Experience using financial software such as NetSuite
- AP/AR supervisory experience preferred
