Day time aide needed to help elderly couple on week days: Monday through Friday 8 AM to 6 PM. Must be someone with the patience of a saint, kind and compassionate. Above all, aide must be RELIABLE, and show up every day unless prior arrangements are made. Assist with toileting, walking, getting into and out of chairs and bed, preparing lunch and dinner, assisting elderly lady to eat, managing TV and videos for the couple, accompanying couple on adventures in the car to restaurants, ice cream shops, library, grocery store, and other venues. Must have own transportation (although your vehicle will never be used to transport elderly couple). References required. $12/hr
Dates needed: Monday, December 10, 2018 through Friday January 11, 2019.
This is a temporary position to fill in for someone who will be on leave. May develop into a more permanent position depending on performance and evidence of kindness and compassion.
