This position is full time with potential for future career growth. We are a rapidly growing residential apartment company looking for competent, hard-working, calm and experienced individuals to join our property maintenance teams in Wheeling and in Weirton.
Responsibilities with include major renovations, as well as turnover jobs between tenants, and general grounds and building maintenance.
Job Duties:
ïRun maintenance calls and provide high level of customer support to all residents.
ïTurnover units including clean-out, painting, repairs, general carpentry, drywall, plumbing, etc.
ïMaintain building accessibility and curb appeal, such as cleaning parking lots and walkways, maintaining landscaping and flower beds, etc.
ïHVAC repairs and preventive maintenance, including repair and replacement of fan motors, burners and thermostats.
ïBasic electrical repair including replacing light fixtures, fans, switches and outlets.
ïRough and finish carpentry.
ïTile work, masonry, carpets and other flooring.
ïDoor and window repair and installation.
ïEnsure tools, materials and vehicles are maintained in good working order and are available at job site when needed.
ïOperate all equipment, tools and machinery with safety as a first priority.
ïAssume additional responsibilities and perform special projects as required.
Position Requirements:
ïMust be a self-starter, mature, responsible and reliable.
ïMust always be on time and punctual.
ïA calm demeanor and firm yet kind interaction style with colleagues, residents, vendors and others.
ïMust be able to lift 50 pounds.
ïDisplay a positive, friendly and professional attitude with strong focus on customer service.
ïAbility to follow oral or written work orders.
ïExperience in using a variety of hand and power tools.
ïHigh school diploma or GED.
ïValid driver's license.
ïMust have a smart phone and access to the internet.
ïMandatory drug and background test.
ïMust be able to maintain competent records of work order completion, supply and equipment inventory, equipment maintenance records, etc.

The hours are 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, with some week-end on-call duties.
