Job Description
This position will be a key technical position to assist engineering in the development and support of new and current products with engine driven welding systems
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Duties include, but not limited to:
Perform all engineering tests including V-A curves, heat tests, reliability, and third party.
Work closely with Miller's Third Party Certification Coordinator to construct, revise, and
keep current third party reports such as CSA, CE, CCC.
Maintain outdoor test facility as required
Ability to diagnose and correct issues arising in units from production builds, lab and
reliability tests is required.
Occasionally manage small to mid size projects
Qualifications
2 year technical degree in electronics, electro-mechanical or related field.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering product development and/or support
is preferred.
Ability to read and understand schematic diagrams and the ability to repair circuit boards
to the component level is required.
Candidate must be a team player with a positive attitude, high motivation and excellent
interpersonal skills who works well in a business unit team environment with minimum
supervision.
Proficient in mechanical skills
Good understanding of Microsoft Word, Excel, andOmnify
Ability to write accurate and concise reports is required.
Limited travel may be required.
