BILINGUAL PROFESSIONAL

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Responsible for day to day activities within the recruiting and hiring processes

Partners with Managers and Department Heads on hiring process

Execute successful advertising campaigns

Manage relationships with staffing agencies

Build strong network to educate broad and targeted groups of prospective employees on our industry, companies, and opportunities

Assess recruiting strategy, track effectiveness and adjust accordingly

Coordinate recruiting events such as job fairs and open houses including scheduling, preparing all materials needed, etc.

Make hiring decisions within determined parameters

Coordinate job offers, pre-employment testing, and onboarding

Officially formalize any/all job changes (job changes, promotions, demotions, etc.)

Support attendance tracking efforts of companies as needed

Cross train in other HR functions to provide backup as needed

Contributes ideas and effort towards employee retention

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of a B.A. or B.S.

Knowledge of construction industry preferred

Display an innovative, continuous improvement mind-set

Valid insurable driver's License

REQUIRED ABILITIES

Work in fast-paced environment

Able to multi-task and prioritize

Clear and concise communication skills

Able to handle critical decision making

Continuous improvement mindset

Familiar with Microsoft Suite of programs

Able to fluently speak spanish

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS OF THE WORKPLACE

Both field and office environment within concrete construction company

Maneuvering some uneven walking surfaces

Exposure to variety of weather conditions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Prolonged periods of working on a computer

Exposure to job site demands and walking surfaces

Occasional bending, stretching, lifting 5 lbs or greater

ADDITIONAL DUTIES

As directed by manager

Travel as required to successfully complete job (including by airplane)

Flexibility in responsibilities to best accomplish the needs of the business
