Site: Neenah
Shift: Monday to Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (Some flexibility is a plus)
Type: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Pay: Salaried Depending on Experience and Qualifications
The Recruiter position is responsible for full life-cycle recruiting: recruiting, screening and recommending placement of staff by using creative sourcing methods (internal and external). This position must possess considerable skill in interviewing techniques, and a basic understanding of the companys organizational structure and culture as well as knowledge of personnel policy and procedure.
Essential Functions of Position
Compose, post and regularly refresh job openings in appropriate media including internet, social media, professional organizations, job services, etc.
Screens resumes, interviews candidates (by phone or in person), completes reference/background checking, makes recommendations for hire (or not hire) and delivers employment offers for nonexempt position openings
Communicates important employment information during delivery of employment offers (e.g. compensation, benefits, and schedule)
Respond timely and professionally to applicant inquiries, including rejected candidates, using traditional communication means
Uses traditional and nontraditional resources, such as career fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates
Manages current candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Work in tandem with Scheduler and supervisory staff to proactively identify staffing needs and develop, maintain and execute ongoing plans to keep positions filled
Develops and maintains an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals
Create accurate new hire paperwork and participate in entering of accurate new employee information into HRIS system
Manages application/resume file and retention according to company policy
Completes weekly report on employment activity
Work independently and part of a team
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, smartphones, photocopies, scanners, and filing cabinets
Requirements
High School diploma/GED; Secondary education preferred
Education, training and/or experience in relative position including high-volume recruiting, interviewing and/or onboarding; Service industry experience preferred
Willingness to participate in continuing training/educational programs to enhance knowledge and abilities
Experience or ability in persuading, training, developing and directing others without relying on titles or authority
Skills
Ability to apply knowledge and experience to utilize computer software and/or written methods for organizational planning
Apply knowledge and experience to execute essential job functions and to train and communicate accountability to others
Demonstrate ability to create a positive first impression on job candidates and communicate with others at all levels of the organization
Travel
This position requires travel to outlying offices, job fairs, interviews, and orientations
An acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid Drivers License are required in order to drive a company vehicle
