We are currently seeking a Service Technician in Appleton, WI. The Service Technician will perform all service work on our filtered water systems. The technician may perform maintenance repairs, and/or preventative maintenance, installation and service of filtration systems which include water refill machines, filtration systems, coffee brewers and coolers.

The Service Technician serves as a brand ambassador by nurturing quality relationships with existing and potential new customers, being knowledgeable about our products and services and providing exceptional customer experiences. The Service Technician reports to the District Operations Manager and will operate a company vehicle. We provide our technicians with hands-on training upon hire.

A typical schedule for a Service Technician is Monday-Friday

Essential Functions

Install, service and/or maintain filtration, coffee and vending equipment as trained

Troubleshoot equipment issues

Perform scheduled maintenance on filtration systems including changing filters and UV bulbs and cleaning/sanitizing equipment, replacing/clearing water lines and fittings, etc.

Inspect equipment for leaks and malfunctions

Maintain, control and inventory parts and equipment

Perform work aligned with service agreements

Follow safety policies and procedures in compliance with company/customer guidelines

Comply with company vehicle policies and procedures including maintenance schedules

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

Proficiency with basic tools including hand held devices and scanner units

Planning, time management, organization and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED preferred with consideration given to years of field experience.

Past experience in repair/maintenance preferred but not required

Computer proficiency required including experience with Microsoft Office

Customer service and communication proficiency including exceptional verbal and written skills

Understanding of internal components and repair protocols used in maintaining/servicing/repairing filtration equipment

Capable of working in a fast pace environment

Physical requirements include the ability to bend, squat, walk with heavy equipment and climb ladders and to frequently lift and/or move 50+ pounds

Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

A consistent work history and ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Must be at least 21 years old
