This position is responsible to perform diverse administrative duties in the Human Resources Department, providing primarily administrative assistance to the total Human Resources function, including recruiting, benefit administration and employee relations. Support will include but not be limited to employee mailings, wellness, event planning, policies, procedures, filing, electronic postings, etc.
Assists with recruiting efforts, coordinates background checks, schedules interviews, etc. Administers pre-employment testing to applicants. Update job descriptions, position postings and maintains bulletin boards. Assists with recruiting opportunities through career fairs, co-op programs, and internships as necessary. Works diligently to attract and retain employees at all levels. Provides suggestions to improve recruiting through Social Media and other outlets.
Assists with the administration of benefit programs and wellness programs. Assists with administration of other benefits and payments (e.g., flexible spending, health insurance, dental insurance, etc.).
Updates HR materials on Company intranet. Converts paper copies to electronic materials and posts them to the intranet.
Provides additional administrative support to the Department, as needed. Prepares mailings, performs shredding, etc.
Maintains KPI data on behalf of department.
Administers employee facing processes such as anniversaries, birthdays, retirement celebrations, other events and associated tasks. Participates in various committees including Wellness and Events Committees.
Part Time Flexible Schedule: 20 hours per week.
OUALIFICATIONS REOUIRED
Administrative skills and experience. Two year degree preferred, Must possess excellent interpersonal/ skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Position requires high degree of confidentiality, organizational abilities, prompt and regular attendance, and excellent communication skills. Must be pleasant and cooperative with co-workers at all levels. Should be proficient in Word and Excel. Knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
