SQL Developer Consultant contract to hire REMOTE job vacancy

My top Midwest client is building out a brand new team. This would be a highly-visible role that would require Expert-level SQL Development skills.

This role can sit in either Southern Wisconsin or Chicago. It will be remote for 6 months then this person will be expected to be in a hybrid-like model, sitting in either Wisc or Chicago part-time.

What are the top 3-5 skills for this role?

o They need to have proven experience with query optimization.

o Actual database development (stored procedures, views)

Nice to have:

o Admin experience blended in would be nice to know where DBAs are coming from.

o Any kind of cloud database experience. (hybrid model, quite a bit on prem, some in the cloud. Still developing cloud strategy - right now Azure is their primary)

What level of experience/ years of experience is needed?

o 10+ years experience in IT

o 7+ years SQL experience

o Enterprise level experience
