IT Support Professional - Contract-to-Hire

One of our best clients in the Madison area is seeking an IT Support Professional to join their IT support team (3-4 members) tasked with a wide range of technical support (help desk & desktop support), equipment builds, configurations, and setups. Supporting a MS Windows and Office 365 environment.

This role is contract-to-hire with 6-months under contract before converting to being an internal FTE member of the team. Salary ranges from 45k-65k with a competitive benefits package. This role is on-site in the Fitchburg area.

Wide range of experience is acceptable and opportunity to grow skillsets through cross-training and shared responsibilities with other IT members.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Provides support to end users on a variety of issues. Identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems. Responds to telephone calls, email, and personnel requests for technical support. Documents, tracks, and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution.

Coordinate with IT support team to resolve various technical support needs regarding software, hardware, and devices.

Troubleshoot and support MS Windows & MS Office environment utilizing a ServiceNow ticketing system.
PC set-up and configurations.
Troubleshooting hardware and software - phone/remote/deskside support
Utilizing and following through with ServiceNow ticketing system for opening, resolving, or escalating tickets.
Support account management, new equipment setups, password resets, and access for new and existing users.
Installing and supporting/repairing software and systems.
