Imaging Operator (Apprentice) -3rd Shift

The primary responsibility of this function is to coordinate and perform activities necessary to ensure quality and efficient make-ready, run and clean-up of imaging equipment. As a member of the production team, this function will also assist with press make-ready, operation and clean-up of the press. In addition to working in a team environment with little supervision, the imaging operator must cooperate and work with others, share information, take the initiative to improve the process and solve the problem. Responsibilities:Operate high resolution, variable print proprietary imaging equipmentProgram and prepare jobs for printingMaintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery manifestsSetup, program and release jobs from print queueAdjust image position Color quality and resolution, perforations and folds on paper, etc.Monitor quality of job output for correctness and image qualityOrder supplies such as ink, chemical solutions, blankets and rollers, paper, tabs, and other items as neededMaintain inventory levels.
