The successful candidate could grow into a variety of areas including management, if that is of interest. The successful candidate's duties and responsibilities will encompass the following:- Interacting with customers to develop requirements
- Creating customer sales proposals utilizing cost estimating software to meet customer requirements
- Utilizing computer modeling software
- Engineering a variety of product designs in CAD
- Working with sales and manufacturing professionals
- Working with external vendors if any parts need to be purchased
- Provide support to customers if needed
- A four year engineering degree
- One to three years of CAD engineering design experience
- One to three years of Microsoft Excel experience
- One to three years of creating customer proposals
