Leads clinical quality program strategy work that encompasses an enterprise wide approach to clinical solutions and process improvements for Accreditation (NCQA and URAC).Primary duties, may include, but are not limited to:
Works closely with enterprise partners to plan and develop leading clinical quality solutions for short and long term roadmaps for chronic conditions and CAPHS across multiple lines of business.
Engages leaders across the enterprise to establish ongoing alignment of clinical quality strategies and the goals of Anthem’s Commercial and Government Business, Health Care Management, and Corporate Strategy, as well as the efforts of the Blue Cross and Blue Shield Association to promote brand value.
Collaborates with corporate strategy initiatives and provides clinical insights that drive continuous improvement and focus on innovation. Works closely with clinical quality leads to promote and ensure strategies are cohesive and optimize identified value levels. Responsible for creating clinical solutions through a consistent and coordinated process that drives value spanning cost of care, quality and provides market differentiation. Continuously evolves clinical strategies to address shifting and newly emerging priorities in the healthcare industry. Works with clinical and market leads to position the company as a national leader in identified clinical areas including chronic conditions and Accreditation. Serves on steering committees and core groups and acts as a single connection point to simplify and create clarity across departments. Develops clinical quality strategy internal partnerships and processes to drive collaboration, communication, and awareness across the enterprise. Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Requires an:MS degree in Business or Healthcare Administration; 10 years experience in the healthcare or medical field; 10 years experience in strategy development within health insurance market and landscape including external partnerships; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 5 years experience working with multi-disciplinary departments and cross functional teams related to the health insurance field preferred.Anthem, Inc. is ranked as one of America’sMost Admired Companies among health insurers by Fortune magazine and is a 2018 DiversityIncmagazine Top 50 Company for Diversity.
