This position maybe located in one of Anthem's office locations nationwide.Responsible for overseeing and leading the implementation of a division's initiatives, programs and processes with consistent excellence that supports the company, develops the team, and honors the company's values.Primary duties with the most expert skill level and tasks with the most advanced complexity and broad/enterprise scale may include, but are not limited to:

Plan, design, develop and lead programming in making Anthem's Ethics, Compliance & Privacy program highly effective.

Oversees programs for multiple departments/functions with advance multiple layers and objectives.

Designs strategic plans for the overall Compliance function.

Leads the Medicare Risk Adjustment Compliance area.

Will lead Medicare Risk Adjustment Audit and Regulatory functions.

Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports; collaborates with management to set strategic vision;

Will lead a team of direct and indirect associates

Education and Experience:

BA/BS; MS/MBA/JD or professional designationpreferred.

Leadership experience in Medicare Advantage (MA) Programs.

Medicare Risk Adjustment Compliance andOperations.

StrongMedicare Risk Adjustment or MA payment auditing experience.

Demonstratedexperience with CMS and external oversight entities.

DOJexperience strongly preferred.

10 years of health care, regulatory, ethics,compliance or privacy experience; or any combination of education andexperience, which would provide an equivalent background;

Familiarity with medical coding stronglypreferred

8-10 years management experience, includingstrong leadership/managerial skills and experience managing virtual teams

Demonstrated experience developing and buildingteams

Ability totravel may be required.
