We care and make a positive difference.Summary and Responsibilities:We are looking for a highly engaged DR Systems Engineer to join our team! In this role you'll be required to develop, maintain and execute on disaster recovery / redundancy strategies. You will need to be an expert of one or more technology Domains. Additionally, we require you to partner with vendors and enterprise teams on emerging best practices, patterns and technology.The right candidate should be willing to proactively learn emerging platforms and related technologies. The ability to tackle sophisticated technical issues and enable/teach peers to be self sufficient is required for success. Other skills include establishing and maintaining best practices as it relates to compliance, security, privacy and legal requirements, being able to anticipate deviations from standard practices and find practical ways to move forward, closely follow industry trends relevant to your domain and understand how to apply them to your work as appropriate, breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable ones, and help others to do the same.In order to be successful, you understand what tools are available and useful for your domain, how they work, and the sorts of situations and problems for which they're useful. Using such resources accurately will enable you to be effective and instruct them to your teammates.Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 4-5 years professional experience
- 5 years minimum of professional IT experience.
- 5 years+ experience with at least one OS/hosting platform.
- 5 years+ experience in performance tuning of application stacks.
- 3 years+ experience with Cloud based PaaS and SaaS. platforms and integration points to On Prem infrastructure.
- 5 years+ experience with virtualization and containerization.
- 5 years+ experience with monitoring and performance management of systems.
- 5 years+ experience with Scripting development.
- 5 years+ experience with networking knowledge.
- 3-5 years+ experience with Identity Platform and tools.
- 2 years experience with modern development and scripting languages.
- Experience with CICD concepts, and tools, branching strategies and demonstrating knowledge to assist in delivering an infrastructure as a product.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills within area of expertise, and solid troubleshooting in adjacent domains.
- Solid grasp of traditional or cloud computing technologies including Networking, Compute, Storage, Development, Data, Operations, or Security.
- 4 years+ of experience in one of the following (AWS, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows) administration and configuration.
- Experience with multiple delivery methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.
