Job Description:
  • Provide thought leadership in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data modelling, data governance, data quality, data access, data integration, data analysis, and data solution design and implementation.
  • Construct a single and authoritative repository of the enterprise’s data through conceptual, logical, and physical data models, as well as data flow diagrams at various levels of detail
  • Define and drive execution of data strategy and roadmaps including architecture, modelling, implementation, and data management for data storage, cleansing, and analytics.
  • Conceive, design and develop data models to reflect and accommodate the business model keeping in mind modelling conflicts due to differences in business significance/meaning of data.
  • Strong SQL skills in RDBMS with in-depth knowledge of different database object types, database dictionary views, constraints, index concepts, advanced SQL concepts such as analytical, aggregate functions.
  • Experience in implementing End-to-End Enterprise Data Archival Solutions using one or more of Informatica ILM, IBM Optim, Solix CDP, SAP Archival, Cloud Archival, etc.
  • Good understanding of database architecture, table relationships.
  • PL/SQL knowledge in case of Oracle DB and T-SQL knowledge in case
  • In case of Administration work other than just development, knowledge of database security, integration, and generation of csr or SSL certificates using preferable tools like puppet.
  • Strong Linux, Unix Shell Scripting skills
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good understanding of SDLC life cycle.
  • Analyse data for discrepancies, identify issues with data processing and communicate using the issue tracking/bug reporting system.
  • Ensure data standards/integrity are maintained to deliver the highest quality products
  • RDBMS SQL knowledge is mandatory, Unix, Linux, Windows Scripting.
  • Should be able to understand the scope, derive estimates, schedule, allocate work, manage tasks/projects, present status updates to IT and business leaders and be compliant with internal and regulatory standards.
