Pace Analytical Services, LLC., a leading national analytical laboratory is seeking highly motivated candidates for a Client Services Technician I in the Sample Receiving department at their laboratory in Green Bay, WI
Hours are Tuesday Friday 9:00 am 6:30 pm and Saturday 8 am 1pm with the probability of overtime.
Responsibilities
Processing incoming samples - inspecting samples to ensure they are in good condition, signing appropriate chain-of-custody documents to receive samples, assigning laboratory numbers to all samples and logging information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
Routing paperwork to appropriate personnel.
Preparing samples for shipment to internal/external clients.
Placing samples in appropriate storage areas to ensure proper sample preservation.
Assisting with sample disposal needs.
Driving company vehicle to deliver or pick up samples.
Follows Pace Analytical Services, LLC policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
The individual should be self-motivated, ambitious, hard working, and able to work independently with an eye for attention to detail.
Must be able to multitask efficiently and work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
Physical requirements include, walking, bending, and carrying. Must also have hand and finger dexterity, and the ability to lift 50 lbs.
