Systems and Manufacturing, a Division of our Client, is seeking a Software Engineer to architect, design and implement the software for our systems. This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity. The ideal candidate would similarly be capable of designing algorithms that analyze data in real-time and through post-processing tools.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Design and develop software for an embedded control platform
- Design, build, document and maintain efficient, reusable C code
- Identify bugs and bottlenecks, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and build automation
- Strong proficiency in C & C
- Thorough knowledge of the standard library as specified by ISO and ANSI
- Experience with low-level threading primitives and real-time environments
- Familiarity with embedded system design and low-level hardware interactions
- Proficient in the use of software versioning tools
- BS degree in relevant engineering, programming, or scientific field, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant industry experience preferred
