Volt Workforce Solutions is currently seeking an experienced welder for a full-time second shift position with an excellent company here in Waterloo, Wisconsin!
Position Requirements:
Follow all company quality and safety requirements.
Qualified in welding disciplines required for the facility.
Shows initiative to recognize areas of opportunity within current standard procedures.
Dependable and prompt attendance.
Skills and Qualities:
Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
Accurately measures to specified tolerances.
Performs flat and horizontal welding.
Fits welds subassemblies into final position with flat and horizontal welds.
Ability to read a tape measure (imperial and metric) and accurately measures to specified tolerances
Advanced knowledge of weld symbols
Education:
3 months of welding experience.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the welder is regularly required to sit, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear well.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds and occasionally push/pull carry 25 to 30 pounds.
The welder must be able to climb stairs, bend at the waist, twist, climb, stoop, stand, walk, grasp, pull, push and have the full use of fingers on both hands to enable safe material handling, as well as function efficiently and safely in the outdoor work environments with exposure to weather extremes.
Shift: Monday-Friday 2:20pm to 10:50pm
Pay: $20
