Bauer's Market in La Crescent, MN is hiring for our fall apple season. Being in the Apple Capital of Minnesota, we see lots of tourists, as well as local residents coming through our doors to get a bite of the local apple crop. In order to best serve our customers, we're looking to fill several different positions. We consider our positions part-time, but may offer 40 hours each week, and may also extend past the fall season. If you don't have transportation available, we are a half block off the local bus route. Our positions are also great for college students and those not wanting to work late nights. Food Preparation: Our Kitchen Team is beginning to prepare for caramel apples, as well as pre-packaging other fall treats offered by Bauer's. Persons applying for this position should be available for a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the potential for more, as well as potential for a longer term position. This is a fun, fast-paced environment and the "fruits" of your labor, enjoyed by many! When filling out the application, please indicate the position applying for as CAW.
Customer Support: We want smiling, friendly, and outgoing individuals to join our Customer Support Team. This group is the face of Bauer's, as well as the La Crescent community. The position will engage with customers at our apple sample table, check outs, and in our fall flower areas. We'll train you on all of the apple and flower knowledge you'll need to know to help our customers, but we need you to provide the positive attitude! We love new customers, but value our return customers and we need your help to make that happen. When filling out the application, please indicate the position applying for as CS.
Behind the Scenes Support: Wonder how all of those apples get into the bags? Or how those mums look so great? Those are just two examples of how our behind the scenes team members keep our store looking fresh and organized! It's not easy work, but if you're able to handle several tasks at a time we think you'll fit in with us. Customers are the heart of our business and so is the look of our store, so we need people that take pride in their work to help us.
