Position Description:
Responsible for providing quick, friendly customer service by answering customer questions, providing purchase assistance, fielding phone orders accurately, and cash handling. Other duties include stocking shelves, assistance with office based inventory, record keeping, scheduling deliveries, filing, and office maintenance.
Job Requirements:
Requires 7:30am-4pm everyday of the week and 3 Saturdays during our Busy Season (approximately April to July). Overtime available
Knowledge of QuickBooks.
Ability to explain merchandise
Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and knowledge of weights and measures(drive-up scale operation)
Read, write, and communicate using English language sufficient to perform job functions (bilingual in Spanish a plus)
Ability to operate office equipment (including but not limited to telephone, paging system, copiers, fax, computers, and etc.)
Ability to deal with customers quickly and effectively.
Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility including sales desk, receiving, register areas, including outside perimeter of the offices.
Ability to work in both inside and outside environmental conditions.
Physical ability to move merchandise. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalency required.
At least 2 years prior retail experience, customer service, and/or office management
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment
Strong computer and phone skills with strong customer service satisfaction
