We are on the lookout for a dedicated and knowledgeable Algebra tutor for our 7th-grade child. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics, particularly in Algebra, and possess a passion for teaching with the ability to make complex concepts easily understandable.
Requirements:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Algebra
Previous tutoring or teaching experience, especially with middle school students
Patience, reliability, and a friendly approach to teaching
Ability to travel to Stoughton for in-person sessions
Availability for one-hour sessions, 3-4 days a week
Responsibilities:
Providing one-on-one Algebra tutoring tailored to the student's learning pace and style
Identifying areas of difficulty and developing strategies to improve understanding and performance
Assigning and reviewing homework to reinforce learning
Tracking and reporting on the student's progress over time
Details:
Location: Stoughton
Frequency: 3-4 times a week
Duration: 1 hour per session
Start Date: As soon as possible
