Position: Substitute Teacher
Pay: Wage determined by related education and experience
Shift/Work Days: Must be available between 7:15 5:30PM / Monday Friday
Classroom: Substitute Teacher is utilized in all classrooms at Toddler House and Preschool
Duration: This position is at a is needed basis
Minimum Requirement: Complete Wisconsin Background Check and meets all State Licensing requirements for Child Care Teacher.
Woodland Montessori School is seeking Substitute Teachers to our pool work in our toddler house and preschool, ages of children range from 18 month - 7 years old.
Description: A Substitute is responsible for covering the scheduled or emergency absences of the WMS staff pool. This includes, but is not limited to, carrying out Montessori philosophy, supervising children, communicating with parents, and providing a healthy and safe environment for children when covering a shift at the Preschool and/or Toddler House. Individual may need to be available Monday-Friday from 7:15A-5:30P

Physical Requirements
This position includes lifting, twisting, and kneeling. Must be able to lift and transfer a 35-50 pound child into different positions. Including assisting the child on the toilet and or with diaper changes.
