We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide. Our client seeks a Business Analyst. Under the supervision of the Deputy Administrator and in conjunction with the Product Manager, you will support the Division of Safety and Permanence by gathering end user feedback, developing user requirements and documentation for report and application enhancements, and by advocating for users’ needs throughout the project lifecycle.
Key responsibilities:A. 30 % Gather user feedback and develop user stories and requirements- Lead/attend feedback sessions, workgroups
- Follow through on feedback, bug reports, and enhancement requests
- Develop business process workflow maps
- Develop user stories and requirements for application and report enhancements
- Review and prioritize feedback
- Maintain articles and job aids on the Child Welfare Worker Portal and Knowledge Web
- Draft communications and release notes highlighting new features
- Liaise with training partners to ensure training materials meet users’ needs
- Coordinate and track updates of forms and templates
- Support data and analytics modernization and transition projects
- 10 years - Experience developing business requirements and process maps
- 10 years - Familiarity with software development and reporting industry standards and best practices; able to analyze and develop recommendations and cost/benefit analyses
- 2 years - Experience drafting documentation and user support materials
- 5 years - User acceptance testing experience
- 5 years - Project Management experience
- Any Social work experience
