IO Datasphere, Inc. has been providing project management, software development and IT staff augmentation services to our clients in the Midwest and throughout the U.S. since 1996. We are an approved vendor on contract to provide software development and IT staff augmentation services for the States of Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. We also provide these services to businesses, as well as local and county governments, in the Midwest and nationwide.Our client is looking for a Desktop Support professional to maintain a working knowledge of our internal computer system.
Tasks- The technician will be in charge of repairing and maintaining thousands of desktops, laptops and other PC devices. They will also be installing new PC's and laptops to replace end of life cycle equipment.
- The technician will be doing those tasks while maintaining inventory and properly disposing of out dated equipment by recycling those items per client policies.
- The technician will also maintain and close work orders in the client ticketing system.
- The technician receives oversight from the Field Tech Manager to ensure that policy, procedure and methodology are being followed.
- Experience repairing and maintaining desktops, laptops and other PC devices
- 2 years - Experience with Imaging Devices
- 2 years - Experience with remote trouble shooting
- 2 years - Experience with customer service
- Ability to work independently but in a team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and balance their work day
