Work you'll do
  • Develop integrated, comprehensive and repeatable approaches to manage change leadership and workforce transition programs associated with large-scale organization transformation initiatives - including future-state organizational design and alignment, technology/ERP implementation, and associated talent-related implications
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and business judgment in anticipating client/project needs and developing innovative, sustainable solutions focused on adding business value
  • Manage day-to-day interactions with clients and the internal Deloitte team
  • Lead and contribute to practice development initiatives including culture building, internal community involvement, eminence, recruiting, whitepapers, etc.
  • Contribute to business development efforts, including client presentations, proposal development, pricing, Statements of Work (SOW), etc.
  • Provide counseling/coaching, oversight, and mentoring support for delivery teams and staff to support the development of Human Capital/HR Transformation colleagues
  • Actively participate in staff recruitment and retention activities providing input and guidance into the staffing process

Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 7 years of relevant consulting or industry experience in Oracle HCM program development and implementation
  • 4 years of experience leading and mentoring project teams on relevant engagements
  • Demonstrated experience with ERP implementation and/or large-scale transformation
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, proven track record of building strong collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience presenting to clients or other decision makers to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
  • Experience with developing proposals and the RFP process
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage several projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Experience working in a complex, fast-paced project environment.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (While up to 50% travel is a requirement of the role, due to COVID-19, non-essential travel has been suspended until further notice)
  • Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information.
  • Desire and eagerness to mentor and assist in the professional development of junior staff members
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, MS Excel, MS Visio)
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain the required clearance for this role
  • Due to COVID-19, certain on-site client work has been suspended until further notice, however, on-site work may be required on a case-by-case basis for this position.

Preferred:

  • Advanced degree in related specialization area
  • Prior consulting experience in the higher education sector
  • Exposure to business development in related specialty areas (i.e., proposal development, sales, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing exceptional teams and providing consistent feedback to achieve results in line with strategic goals.
  • Demonstrated interest in a profession in Human Capital work through professional organizations, coursework, certifications, conference attendance, etc.
