Contractor's MUST live within driving distance to Madison, must have a personal means of transportation, and driving expenses will NOT be covered.

General Skills and Duties:

Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution and installation of the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies. Support software and hardware upgrades to network servers, operating systems, and applications. Responsible for backup integrity and recovery coordination and planning. Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices including a variety of server types, clustering, and load balancing techniques. Possess considerable logic and understanding to analyze and troubleshoot problems. Must be able to prioritize trouble calls and respond to emergencies and all levels of troubleshooting.

Top Skills & Years of Experience: 6+ years of experience in the following:

- Significant experience with Microsoft Windows Server Workstation, Microsoft Azure, Exchange Online or Office 365

- Significant experience with SharePoint Online

- Significant experience with EndPoint Manager

- Significant experience with VMWare

Nice to have skills:

- Excellent people skills due to the nature of the assignment - high stress project due to agency changing buildings

- The ability to be flexible and take direction from leads

Additional Details:

This is a shortened contract - the project is scheduled to take 3 months. The contractor will be working with a team responsible for helping our agency move buildings. The contractor will be responsible for travelling to either location each day for the duration of the contract.
