OverviewPosition Overview:Reporting to SVP Operations, the Vice President, CloudOps is the top resource responsible for cloud design, build quality, cloud transformation, and migration strategy. This role is responsible for contributing to technology strategy and guiding the execution of the transformation for HealthEdge’s Health Rules Payor. Following HITRUST standards, this role will guide the design and development of highly available core services as part of our transformative process to scale the technology infrastructure to support our growth, measured by a robust set of metrics build on a comprehensive telemetry suite.In this role, you will collaborate with our product and infrastructure teams to execute against our strategy for creating a cloud platform for our product, leveraging modern architecture principles to build enterprise scale, performance and stability that can be deployed for the largest health insurance companies in the market.Your Impact :Lead the full lifecycle of strategic technology initiatives and provide overall technical guidance in support of developing the plans and migrating the customer systems to a cloud based platform.

Create thought leadership opportunities and proactively lead technical conversations, including architecture design, architecture governance, and site reliability engineering practices within the organization

Establish world class DevOps practices for overall platform by integrating the full lifecycle to create flow, feedback, and telemetry within the team and across our development lifecycle

Provide a data-driven architecture and technology operations strategy (premise, hybrid, and cloud) with the ability to formulate, present, and influence to achieve strategic goals

Develop software and deploy infrastructure to enable new detection capabilities and automated response

Serve as a master change agent and can anticipate and orchestrate change understanding with both internal and external customers

Maintain security and compliance standards for the environments that support millions of customers on our platform

Take ownership of the management of project prioritization, progress, and workload management across Cloud and Data Engineering staff to ensure on-time delivery

Leverage the elasticity of the cloud in close collaboration with platform engineering, ensure frameworks and standards are executed to develop, deploy and support software that allows the entire organization to go faster in solution deployment

Lead the definition, research and development, and architecture of next-generation infrastructure and cloud technologies

Recommend and build systems and efficiencies for end-user and overall client site support both remotely and on-site, including capacity planning, technology evolution

Develop and nimbly execute a path for continuous improvement in advancing functional and operational performance

What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related field

8+ years of related experience

5+years of leadership experience at a senior level, with hands-on experience leading offshore development and delivery teams

8+ years of experience in Infrastructure product development and infrastructure technology development and service delivery

5+ years of experience in Data Governance Management preferably in a Cloud Environment

8+ years of experience Public Cloud/Private Cloud/SaaS implementation experience

Ability to build, lead and develop a diverse team of technology professionals by optimizing the use of resources to achieve departmental and organizational objectives

Demonstrated ability to set technology direction and oversee successful delivery and/or support of technology solutions

Requires awareness of audit and compliance related issues in a HIPAA-compliant, HITRUST environment

Mastery of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines, including digital transformation and conversion to service-oriented architectures at large scale

Solid understanding of data security and privacy technologies

Proven ability to establish and articulate a vision, set goals, develop and execute strategies, and track and measure results

Demonstrated experience injecting best practices into existing and new projects that follow DevOps practices
