Oakhouse Bakery on Madison's Far Eastside is hiring. This will be a full time position to assist in the production of high quality baked goods, while following all food safety, quality, and employee safety polices. Successful candidates will be required to complete manufacturing documentation, follow written and verbal instructions, move and lift objects weighing up to 50lbs, perform repetitive motions, work in warm or cold environments, and wear required uniforms and PPE
Starting wage is $11.00/hr for first shift, $11.50/hr for second shift PLUS $1.00 PER HOUR ATTENDANCE BONUS AND ADDITIONAL PAY INCREASES AFTER 60 DAYS AND 6 MONTHS OF EMPLOYMENT.
$250 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 60 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR 1ST SHIFT
$500 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 60 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR 2ND SHIFT
The shifts will be 8-10 hours.
Currently in need of day shift and night shift.
General Function: To support baking line operations. You could be mixing or packaging the finished product.
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Responsibilities and Duties:
-Maintain consistent flow of product through processing machinery
-Physically manipulate bakery goods by hand or with mechanical assistance
-Complete required paperwork
-Follow established quality and safety procedures
-Complete assigned sanitation tasks
Qualifications and Skills
-Willingness to comply with GMP's and food safety requirements
-Ability to follow written and or verbal instructions to specifications
-Ability to move and lift objects up to 50 lbs
-Able to wear required uniforms & PPE
-Able to climb, bend reach and perform repetitive motions
-Ability to pass a pre employment drug test
