ETC is seeking new team members for a Paint Prep opening in our clean, climate-controlled facility. At ETC you'll find that we work hard and play hard, and have the best coworkers and friends you'll ever meet!

Candidates should have a positive attitude, good manual dexterity, the ability to use hand and power tools, follow assembly drawings, sit or stand for an extended time period, lift up to 50 pounds, and have basic English skills to understand quality, safety and work instructions.

Representative Responsibilities:

Prepares parts for paint and packages completed parts

Masks and unmasks parts

Loads and unloads parts to the powder coat conveyer system

Maintains expected productivity output levels and completes assignments as scheduled

Completes paperwork correctly, labels parts per work order and forwards the product to the next station

Ensures product quality meets standards by frequently checking work

Performs visual quality checks regularly to monitor paint coverage

Follows ISO procedures

Uses appropriate documentation, e.g. ECRs, and NCMRs, to identify and communicate issues

Adheres to safety standards at all times

Ensures that safe methods and practices are used

Abides by safety procedures, work practice controls, and OSHA guidelines

Wears personal protective equipment as required

Learns new tasks and procedures as needed

Listens to, understands and follows instructions while learning new assignments

Recognizes unusual circumstances and asks intelligent questions when necessary

Maintains a clean and organized work environment

Ensures after task is completed, floor is swept and tools are returned to designated area

Early morning and late afternoon or evening working hour rotation

This position requires work hours that begin early morning or extend into the evening

Performs other duties as assigned

Completes special projects and requests in a timely and positive fashion

Minimum Qualifications:

HS diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred

1-2 years previous experience using powder coat paint application systems preferred

Good organizational skills

Able to use hand tools

Able to lift up to 50 pounds

Able to sit or stand for long periods of time

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Proven ability to understand and follow directions

Basic English skills to understand quality, safety, work instructions, personnel information, etc

Able to read and interpret drawings
