Positions available NOW through October - November 2018.

Monday - Thursday 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

SUMMARY

Responsible for performing production work on assembly line as part of a team. Accurately assemble finished product. Inspects product to ensure high quality.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Start up and stop equipment.

Assist with production on assembly line.

Clean production area.

Sweep, mop, and remove debris.

Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.

Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.

Pull damaged or ineffective product off the line.

Mark finish product for identification.

Place equipment on conveyor belt for further processing.

Remove product and machine attachments.

Read and interpret gauges.

Record data.

Load and unload assembly equipment.

Place finished product on pallet for shipping.

Take instructions from line lead/supervisors.

Follow all safety rules plus company policy and procedures.

ABILITIES

Good Vision The ability to see things at close range to ensure quality.

Communication The ability to communicate with supervisors, line leads or peers and the ability to listen to and understand information through spoken or written words.

Perform General Physical Activities The ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, stretching, twisting, reaching, and handling materials for long periods of time. Also, requires lifting up to 50 lbs.

Manual Dexterity The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.

Finger Dexterity The ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small objects.
