Advanced Assembly Inc., located on the west side of Madison, is looking to add 1st and 2nd shift shift Assemblers to our well-trained and experienced staff. Our new 105,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant is designed for optimal efficiency and quality in high-performance electronic assembly with the latest in robotic assembly equipment.

These full time positions (40 hours per week), offer a 1st shift schedule of 6:00AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday (with overtime as needed), OR a 2nd shift schedule of 2:30PM-12:30AM, Monday-Thursday (with overtime as needed), a competitive starting wage, a full benefits package, and a casual work environment.

Job Description: The Assembler I performs routine assembly operations, of a repetitive nature, to produce quality products per product specifications. Primarily, this is an entry-level position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities: (Nothing in this job description restricts management's right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time).

Assembles product and sub-assemblies according to written documentation

Tests functional performance of assemblies using various meters and test equipment

Moves material to and from work area

Minimal soldering of components may be required

Utilizes small hand tools, jigs and fixtures

Packages product per process instructions

Performs other job-related duties as assigned by primary supervisor

Requirements:

High school diploma/GED preferred

Manufacturing experience preferred

Ability to follow written procedures and documentation

Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail (working with small electronic parts)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand in one area for long periods of time, with minimal breaks.

Physical ability to move freely and have sufficient reflexes to perform the same tasks repeatedly using hands and power tools to complete the task at a constant rate.

Ability to perform the same task repeatedly.

Ability to lift up to 35 lbs occasionally.
