pc/nametag is looking for a part-time Help Desk Support Technician to join our team. In this role you will help support the daily IT operations such as providing technical support to end users, performing hardware and software installs, setting up new workstations along with a variety of other responsibilities. Typical Day:
Provide support services for PC, Mac and peripheral equipment (scanners, printers, etc.)
Provide first level of technical support for system users in diagnosing and solving problems via remote access, e-mail, telephone, or on-site
Respond to help desk tickets according to urgency and priority levels
Perform hardware and software updates to existing computer equipment
Conduct set-up of new workstations and laptop computers
Support Windows 10 system setups
Install and maintain general computer software
Skills Needed for Success:
Associate's degree and one year of related experience; or three years of related experience
Knowledge of Active Directory and Office 365 are a plus
Knowledge of basic principles and practices of information technology
Computer proficiency in all Microsoft applications
Strong communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask
Ability to keep calm under pressure
Work will be a mix of Remote with occasional need to come into the office
