Mad City Techs is currently seeking to hire a Managed IT Network Administrator to work out of our Monona office. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing and maintaining our customers network environments in both remote and onsite capacities while demonstrating excellent customer service and professionalism.

We service a wide range of environments from small workgroup based offices up to and including 60+ user Windows Server based networks with multiple branch offices. We are looking for a candidate that possesses strong server, computer, and networking skills combined with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple functions, or tasks.

This is NOT an entry level position and proven experience in a network administrator role is preferred.

Experience / Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

Strong problem-solving skills.

Experience with firewalls, VPNs, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Hyper-V desired.

A+, NET+, Cisco or Microsoft certifications are highly desired.

Technical ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and repair systems and networks.

Capable of standing and walking for extended periods of time.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with emphasis in customer service.

Able to comprehend and follow verbal and written technical instructions.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Must have reliable transportation and an active driver's license.

Duties and Responsibilities of the Job:

Respond to customer requests in a timely and professional manor, in person, by phone, or via electronic communication.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in a wide variety of network environments.

Compile and enter accurate notes on work performed into electronic ticketing system in addition to customer invoicing.

Analyze equipment performance records to determine the need for repair or replacement.

Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software.

Coordinate with vendors and with company personnel to facilitate purchases.

Gather data pertaining to customer needs, and recommend changes to improve systems and network configurations, and determine hardware or software requirements related to such changes.

Maintain and administer computer networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software.
