Company Description
Deibel Laboratories is a private food testing facility providing services in both Microbiology and Chemistry testing. We play an integral role in food and product safety for industry-leading producers, as well as family run operations much like our own. Our location in Madison, WI is currently looking to several hire full-time Microbiology Laboratory Technicians.
All Schedules Offered: 9AM-7:30PM
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday (rotating every 3rd Saturday)
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday
Training Schedule: Mon. - Fri. 8am - 4:30pm

Job Description
Responsibilities will include the following: documentation of results, pipetting, using sterile technique, make media, autoclaving, and setting up samples. Candidate must be willing to work both independently and with the team. Candidate must have a good, can-do attitude.
Qualifications
Requirements for Applicant:
High School Diploma
0-1 Years Experience.
Must be able to stand and work efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Must be highly motivated, detail oriented.
Must be able to lift 10lbs with each hand and pick up to 50lbs.
Must be willing to learn Good Documentation Practices.
Must work occasional holidays.
Must be willing to have a flexible schedule for days that require overtime.
Must also live within 40 miles of Madison, WI. No relocation packages available.
Preferred Requirements:
AA, BS, or BA in the sciences is a plus but not required.
Equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
Previous experience as a Vet Technician or in Food Plant Quality is a plus!
Knowledge of PCR and ELISA is a plus
Strong knowledge in microbiology and bacteria (please include relevant coursework on resume)
Prior experience working in a fast paced environment is a plus. (include on resume).
Knowledge of Sterile Technique is a plus.
